DualSense PS5 Controller

Sony would be offering a wireless DualSense PS5 controller. The latest PS5 controller sports a futuristic look with its white and black colour scheme. While PlayStation fans are divided over the design its exciting features definitely make it enjoyable for all. The controller specs include several impressive sounding features like adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and a built-in mic. Moreover, it replaces the PS4 Share button with a new “Create” button.

Customisable Hardware

Matt MacLaurin, VP for UX Design at PlayStation has said in a LinkedIn thread that the PlayStation 5 console would be more customisable than any of the previous gen PlayStations. While he didn’t give away many details, he replied with a “maybe” when a user asked if gamers can expect a black version of the console too. Moreover, he added, “There will be a special edition for everyone.”

Revamped UI with Evolved OS

Along with the PS5 controller, MacLaurin has also promised an overhauled user interface for the PlayStation 5. As per The Verge report, MacLaurin described the new software interface as a very interesting evolution of the OS. He added that it is a “100 percent overhaul of the PS4 UI and some very different new concepts”. He further explained, “As it’s UI it’s practical first, but it’s a whole new visual language and a complete re-architecting of the user interface.” Moreover, it also noted that the new PS5 OS is “more subtle than flashy, but no pixel is untouched.”

The PS5 Exclusives

From Spider Man: Miles Morales by Insomniac Games to Gran Turismo 7, the PlayStation 5 console will come with many exciting new titles and sequels. Moreover, its bunch of confirmed in-studio and third party games also includes Horizon: Forbidden West, Resident Evil 8, Demon’s Souls, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. The PlayStation 5 Virtual Reality experience

Unlike its rival Microsoft Xbox, Sony offers the option of an amazing VR experience too. Sony has already affirmed that the PSVR would be compatible with the PlayStation 5. While the PSVR that came with PS4 offered a great experience, many tech sites have are speculating that the PS5 may come with a next gen PlayStation VR, being called the PSVR2. However, there has been no official confirmation from the company yet.
