Open a WhatsApp chat and tap the contact’s name to open their contact detailsTap on Wallpaper and SoundTap on Choose a New WallpaperAt this stage, WhatsApp will allow you to choose from the latest stock wallpapers. You can browse through the old wallpapers that can be accessed by tapping on the Wallpaper Archive. If you don’t like any, you can also select a photo from the phone’s gallery as a custom wallpaperAfter choosing the wallpaper, swipe left or right to Preview the WallpaperTap on Set and adjust the Wallpaper Dimming for fine-tuning the brightness
