Additionally, these steps will show you how to check the storage space being used by the Mail app. If you are using another app to check your email on your iPhone, then you will need to find that app instead in the final step of this guide. Step 1: Open the Settings menu.
Step 2: Scroll down and select the General option.
Step 3: Select the Usage option.
Step 4: Touch the Manage Storage button under the Storage section of the screen.
Step 5: Locate the Mail option. The number to the right of it is the amount of space being used by the app.
