Konami, the developer of the classic Contra has partnered with Tencent, Chinese developer, to bring the game to mobile devices. The pre-registration for the game has already begun in North America, Latin America, and Europe. The game will be released in North America, Latin America, and Europe on July 26. Konami is targeting to bring the title to the North American region in the coming days. It is worth noting that this one will be the first Contra title to be released in the US after the 2019 Contra: Rogue Corps and the Contra: Anniversary Collection. Contra coming to iOS and Android upgrades
Along with the return of powerful Contra background score and the iconic Contra heroes as well as additional characters, the iconic game is expected to be quite similar to its Chinese counterpart. It will host the classic, arcade-like gameplay to your smartphone. For those who don’t know, Contra was one of the most popular arcade-based adventure games of all time. The game was developed for the 64-bit video game console generation which is also called TV video games in India.

The action packed game is now available for pre-order on iOS and also on Android devices via the Google Play Store. Pre-registered players will also get special in-game rewards when the game goes live next month.
